The Red Sea
The Red Sea stretches, in total, for more than 2.200 km and has a maximum width of about 350 km. From the Egyptain coastline to the Saudi Arabian coastline is approximately 180 km and reaches a depth of up to 2.600 m. Due to its high salt content, over 40 %, and its unusually isolated entrance with its neighbour, the Indian Ocean, we have here fish species and breathtaking dives sites like no other place.
More than 10% from all non poisonous fish spices are found only here. Close to all dive sites lies over 1.000 km of Egyptian coast line, which can be dived all year long without any problems. Water temperature, as a rule, is never less than 20⁰C and reaches a high in August and September of up to 32⁰C.
